Researches show that students forget nearly 40% of well understood concepts within a week, however, the education system is designed in a way that makes students forget what they have learnt. Students study a chapter, take a test on it and then do not revisit it or apply concepts studied till the final summative assessment. Though regular practice helps students in mastering concepts, there is a lack of motivation to practice chapters which won't be asked in the immediate formative assessment ( class tests). This limits the ability of students to apply concepts beyond curriculum, especially even simple mathematics involving mental math such as discounts and fractions. QuizNext is a gamified practice app that offers AI based practice recommendations & skill builder quizzes for CBSE and ICSE students. We use AI based remembering algorithms to identify practice intervals for students across subjects, chapters & concepts and then leverage game elements to get students to practice specific chapters and concepts. We have seen good traction since the launch of QuizNext 6 months back, garnering 35K+ users, who have completed 9 quizzes on an average. We are a 4 member team with solid experience in the EdTech space.
