GINGER LAB PROGRAM Generating innovation for next generation labs is an ed-tech startup that caters to developing the fundamental skills and making learning fun and experiential through various models of methodologies. Our target market is from the age group 0-16 years old where we have developed technology enabled pedagogies to develop and acquire skills and knowledge that will in turn enable them to explore 21st 21stcentury skills. Our program has been divided into 4 categories. 1) 0-3 Raising stars From birth until they turn 2, children are in what famous developmental researcher Jean Piaget calls the sensorimotor period. During this time, children use their senses and actions to learn and grow. This period begins with basic reflexes and advances through a series of “stages” to complex sensory and motor skills, and early symbolic thought. For games to play throughout the first year that will support cognition. Sometime between 18-24 months, children enter Piaget’s second stage — the preoperational stage. This stage, which lasts from about 2 to about 6-years-old, is the time during which children learn to use symbols and representational thinking, such as language. At the onset of the preoperational period, children cannot yet use concrete logic nor take the perspective of another. They demonstrate egocentrism, where they believe that their thoughts are shared by others. These limitations notwithstanding, the time from 2 to 3 is another explosion of learning and thinking. Children are able to respond to simple directions, group objects by category, imitate more complex actions and show increasingly vivid use of the imagination. The time between 2 and 3 marks the transition from baby or toddler to preschooler! Hence, Gingerlab is providing a complete solution to develop, explore and implement fundamentals skills and potential learning in the early stage of child development through various activities and this is 100% screen free for the child. Daily half an hour program with a subscription that will give you access to the customized app experience with entertaining stress free parenting. 2) 4-6 years old During these years, children’s learning is more explicit and visible. Preschoolers are more competent in deliberate approaches to learning, such as trial and error or informal experimentation. Pre-schoolers are experiential, learning by doing rather than figuring things out only by thinking about them. This makes shared activities with educators and peers potent opportunities for cognitive growth. Still, the potential to underestimate the cognitive abilities of young children persists in the preschool and kindergarten years. In one study, for example, children’s actual performance was six to eight times what was estimated by their own preschool teachers as well as experts in educational development. A study in kindergarten revealed that teachers spent most of their time on content the children already knew. When educators practice in a way that is aware of the cognitive progress of children at this age they can deliberately enlist the child’s existing knowledge and skills in new learning opportunities. Here ginger lab is working with both institutions and in person to provide services that enables the motor skills and thinking ability of the child in an advanced manner. Minimal use of screen with tech enabled programme that will give both the institute and parent an extra ordinary experience upon the growth of the child. 3) 7-11 years old children's thinking processes change significantly during the concrete operational stage. School‐age children can engage in classification, or the ability to group according to features, and serial ordering, or the ability to group according to logical progression. Older children come to understand cause‐and‐effect relationships and become adept at mathematics and science. Comprehending the concept of stable identity—that one's self remains consistent even when circumstances change—is another concept grasped by older children. For example, older children understand the stable identity concept of a father maintaining a male identity regardless of what he wears or how old he becomes. Ginger lab is using science as a medium to inculcate the following skills during this stage. Problem solving, creativity, innovation. Here each student will have a personalized learning experience which will be integrated with teh ginger lab app through which students can see the updates on their learning, where they lack and how to improve the learning. Parents can also see the progression, test their child, and understand, monitor the progress. This programme will also be available for both institutions and in person. 4) 12-16years Most adolescents reach Piaget's stage of formal operations (ages 12 and older), in which they develop new tools for manipulating information. Previously, as children, they could only think concretely, but in the formal operations stage they can think abstract
