Liflora is a start-up focused on creating meaningful solutions in a changing world. We have introduced a new concept in environmental biotechnology: a start-up focused on enhancing urban air quality through nature-inspired, space-efficient innovations - Liquid Tree. As cities expand and green spaces shrink, our air quality is deteriorating. Trees are nature’s lungs, but they are being cut down faster than they can be replaced. That’s where the idea of Liquid Tree comes in. It is a compact, aesthetic microalgae-based photobioreactor that mimics how natural trees work. This system replicates the natural process of photosynthesis by absorbing carbon dioxide (CO₂) and releasing oxygen (O₂) in real-time. It is made for crowded urban areas where trees struggle due to limited space, soil, or sunlight. It combines biotechnology with sustainable environmental design. The Liquid Tree can be easily set up in any indoor space: hospital rooms, school classrooms, homes, bedrooms, living rooms, or any corner. Even the biomass or waste from the microalgae can be reused as organic fertilizer or nutritional feed for cattle, supporting a circular and eco-friendly economy. The Liquid Tree is more than just a way to tackle pollution; it’s a bold step toward reclaiming clean air, empowering people, and bringing life into every space with fresh air.
