Linkedcare is the brand name of a cloud-based health-IT service that is the basis of an evolving health ecosystem where all health related processes run smoothly and without unwanted interruptions or breaks. Medical doctors get a set of advanced IT-tools to execute their day-to-day tasks in their medical offices or clinics with significantly less effort than before: these range from calling up a patient’s file at any time even without an ongoing consultation, via the support to the diagnostic processes (using the SOAP routine), the resulting, semi-automatic classification according to ICD-10, advanced support to the prescription process - be this for MCDT, analysis, or medication. In the latter case this will be done with automatic queries in a database containing over 140.000 medications making the process of identifying the right medication, issuing the prescription with the right posology and alerting the prescribing doctor to potential and unwanted interactions between different (prescribed) medications and or effects on pre-existing health conditions that make the use of a specific medication problematic.
