Inadequate operative, unavailability of cadaveric skill labs and training, and poorly followed surgical training guidelines result in inaccurate and poor quality skillsets among the doctors. These shortfalls in training and assessment create an increased level of risk, with severe consequences for patients and surgeons that care for them. MadVR aims to bridge the gaps by providing an immersive, realistic, medical-grade, and engaging platform exploiting the potential of VR in training surgeons. We provide real-world scenarios to anywhere-anytime practice standard-to-complex surgeries, designed for medical doctors and surgeons. The objective is to increase doctors’ skills and learning outcomes by providing realistic scenarios, real-time feedback, repeatability, and productive failures.
