Mamka services more than 100 small and medium retailers through its multiple distribution centres and claims wastage of less than 5% in its supply chain as compared to average wastage of 50% in fruits and vegetables throughout the supply chain in the country. The farmers get up to 35% better returns on milk and 40% to 60% better returns on fruits and vegetables, which increases the farmers’ margins, resulting in a substantial jump in their disposable income.
