The Promoters have invented ATGLS (Anti-Theft Geofencing based Locking System). Need: The main idea of this ATGLS is to provide an IoT based swadeshi locking system which will Prevent Cargo Thefts. There are many surveys being conducted for this Cargo theft and they claim that Asia's 64% Cargo Theft takes place in India and every year this figure is consistently growing because of lack of surveillance. The report also states that if any surveillance system is established then around 40-60% cargo thefts can be prevented. There are few mechanisms which try to reduce the cargo thefts but they are not perfectly sufficient. Despite the existence of few solutions, ample theft of tanker cargo is reported on a regular basis. For example, a single 5 chamber tanker carries 20000 liters of oil translating to 20+ lakhs lost in a single instance of oil tanker theft. And when it comes to logistic transportation like electronic goods items then the pilferage amount can go as high as 10 Cr. Hence, we propose an efficient locking system with surveillance, alerts, and a more secure locking capacity than the current existing solution. Product description ● Firstly, there is a black box type system situated in the driver’s cabin that is normally inaccessible to non-authorized individuals with the sealing of its own. This black box draws power from the driver’s cabin and in cases of emergency also has backup battery provisions. The objective of the black box is to update and store information such as location, speed, and observation of the route followed by the train. This is the hub that communicates with the manifold box situated on the output of the oil tanker chambers. This hub houses a wifi communication chip and a GSM module along with the main microprocessor/microcontroller. ● The second component is the manifold box attached to the side of the tanker. The manifold box houses an embedded circuit along with electromagnetic locks placed along the sides of the box with completely covered and non-exposed wired coated with a non-flammable coating and insulation to prevent leakage of vapors inside the system that could potentially result in fire and hazards. The system is in full-duplex communication with the cabin system utilizing a WiFi-enabled microcontroller chip operating both as a base station and an access point in the cabin and the manifold box respectively. Components of System ○ Steel Fabrication and Encasing - ■ Makes the locking system inaccessible and prevents damage to electronic components from the outer atmosphere as well as from oil leakage inside the box. ○ Wireless Communication Chip ■ Helps to communicate with the locking system installed in the locking box of an Oil tanker. 2 Wireless chips are installed, one in the cabin in the GPS system Box and another in the locking box. Locks are opened or closed based on the communication between these two chips ○ RFID Reader module ■ This is the verification module that helps to verify the key inserted at the time of unloading ○ RFID Key and Credentials ■ The unique identification Key which will be available with the receiver person and once the vehicle is out of geofencing the lock can be opened with the help of this key. ○ GSM Module and Antenna ■ It is a communication module that helps to transmit the real-time location of the device over the cloud and it also receives the response from the cloud in geofencing. It uses the GSM network for these things. ○ GPS Module and Antenna ■ It is a real-time locating device. It communicates with the satellite and gets the real-time latitude and longitude of the device and transmits to the microcontroller. ○ Lead Acid Battery/Lithium Polymer Batteries ■ Powering device ○ Local Microcontroller x 2 ■ Controls the whole mechanism; this is the main unit of the whole system which controls the flow of the work. ○ Voltage Regulation System ■ It helps to control the voltage flowing into the device and protects the device from overvoltage. ○ DC-DC Buck Converter ○ Solenoid Locks or Pneumatic Actuator ■ This is the locking device that operates on the power once given the power it locks the system. ○ Miscellaneous Components 2.
