Marut Drones was founded by a team of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) Alumni. It is a one stop solution for managing and scaling drone operations for organisations providing end to end solutions for drone applications getting rid of the dependency on the third party for effective outcomes. Marut Drones built India's first drone to eradicate Mosquitoes larvae and Water Hyacinth on Lakes and autonomous drones for spraying for agriculture. It is incubated in T-Hub and mentored by International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad(IIIT Hyderabad), Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) and Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) Marut drones built custom drone Mosquito eradication and to tackle water hyacinth and uses artificial intelligence based prediction of mosquito density, larvae count, prepare real-time reports and identify high and low risk areas using predictive analytics for disease like Malaria, Dengue & Chikungunya etc Listed under Forbes’ The 30 Under 30 Asia list, Marut Drones was incubated in T-Hub, and mentored by IIIT Hyderabad and RICH. We’ve also won Facebook’s – India Innovation Accelerator Program 2019 in AI for Social Good. Recognised as an innovator, problem-solver, and creator in the industry, Marut is pioneering the introduction of emerging technology like IoT, AI, Data Analytics and Machine Learning to the nascent Drone Industry in India. The grant we received from IIIT Hyderabad’s Nidhi Prayas Scheme, helped in turning our ideas into a reality. Fighting COVID-19, building the World’s First Mosquito Eradication System, making Medical Supplies reachable to everyone, creating a solution for Sustainable Agriculture and Scalable Afforestation are just the first few steps Marut Drones has taken towards a sustainable and inclusive future.
