The travel space is currently saturated with B2B players and a clutter of intermediaries, all of which affects quality and the cost quotient for the intended market - the traveller, especially the overseas one. Travellers often do not have reliable sources to depend on especially while on the move. For the traveller who wishes to travel independently, it is a difficult space to navigate. There are too many touts and intermediaries if a traveller wishes to make his own arrangements. Transport itself poses one of the biggest challenges. Connecting with the right candidate, whether driver or the right kind of transport, which can be reliable, trustworthy and comes with credentials that have been tested and validated, is tough for someone who may not be familiar with the country, region and its dynamics. The drivers in turn do not have the right channels to market themselves and get connected with customers without the intervention of intermediaries, which often leaves them in a vulnerable position. One must not forget the vital role played by drivers on a tour, and how important it is to have someone dependable in the driver’s seat, literally speaking. Mathew Voyages aims to solve the problem of this unorganized part of the travel industry, by connecting the traveller and the driver.
