MAUNO Distillery Pvt Ltd is a startup interested in promoting EBP, venturing into manufacturing of Fuel Ethanol/Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA)/pharma grade Ethanol and its by-products like CO2, DDGS and captive power generation. The project will be based on waste/damaged grains like Broken Rice, for utilisation of their starch to manufacture bio-ethanol/ENA and other constituents like protein and fibre to produce value added cattle feed. The company wants to generate this environment friendly fuel to promote the concept of sustainable development as well as to promote Agro-Based industries with assured returns for the farmers. The company wants to reduce the outflow of money from Andhra Pradesh in the form of oil import bill as well as environmental pollution levels. This venture would boost job opportunities and would also spur indigenous technological development.
