In their own words

MD Botanicals is the branded nutraceutical and herbal-wellness venture of the Maa Danteshwari Herbal Group, built on a vertically integrated "soil-to-shelf" model. It cultivates medicinal plants on owned farmland in Bastar, Chhattisgarh, with tribal farming communities, and processes them in-house into standardized formulations, supplements, teas, and topical products sold under its own brand — delivering traceability and purity that fragmented herbal supply chains cannot match, while creating fair-income livelihoods for tribal growers. 1. What is the problem the startup is solving? India's herbal sector runs on fragmented, opaque supply chains — raw material from unknown sources, common adulteration, inconsistent potency, and tribal cultivators squeezed by middlemen. Consumers lack traceable, chemical-free products; farmers lack stable income from medicinal cultivation. 2. How does the startup propose to solve this problem? MD Botanicals runs a vertically integrated soil-to-shelf model — cultivating medicinal plants in Bastar directly with tribal communities, then processing, standardizing, and packaging in-house before selling under its own brand. This closed-loop control ensures traceability, consistent quality, and fair income for cultivators. 3. What is the uniqueness of your solution? Unlike competitors who buy herbs from open markets, MD Botanicals owns its entire supply chain, backed by Bastar cultivation expertise since 1996: captive farm-to-formulation traceability under one quality system, a tribal-inclusive cultivation model, region-specific medicinal crops, and standardized formulations made end-to-end in-house. 4. How does your startup generate revenue? Revenue comes from branded herbal and nutraceutical products — supplements, formulations, teas, and topicals — sold through distributors, retail, and direct/online channels, plus bulk supply of cultivated botanicals and export.

The neighbourhood

This record carries no locality line, so the district is the finest ring we can place it in.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot.
