In their own words

Blockchain can provide a structure for data sharing as well as security. This is how: healthcare providers collect information from the patient such as name, date of birth, procedures performed and prescriptions. The data is stored in the organization’s existing databases and/or on cloud computing systems. A hash is created from each source of data and is redirected to the blockchain along with the patient’s public ID. Smart contracts are used to manage patient data access. Through an API, healthcare stakeholders can query the blockchain that provides the location where the data can be found without revealing patient identity. For using ICT, the most important aspect is to have a robust and safe database, which also takes in to account the issue of privacy and patient consent for sharing the data. The issue with any centralized system is the leakage of data to untrusted third parties. Health Blockchain Network connects interested volunteers to the researchers and doctors who are running clinical trials, making it easy for people to discover and participate in clinical research. This network works with pharmaceutical companies and research organizations around the country to help them find qualified patients, making drug trails faster, with real data directly from patients making it difficult for the manipulation of data. MedicHive is a Health Blockchain Network that connects dispersed Patient Generated Health Data, Electronic Medical Records and other sources of patient information into a consolidated and highly-secure repository. This helps in providing the healthcare ecosystem a complete view of the patient’s medical history and thus setting the foundation for the delivery of safer, better and personalized medicine. Moreover, Health Blockchain gives control back to the patient of his/her health records, secures his/her explicit consent for sharing them, and provides him/her potential compensation when the information is used for clinical research and Real-World Evidence Studies

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot.
