About MeghEssence Organics MeghEssence Organics Pvt. Ltd. is an emerging agribusiness venture focused on transforming Meghalaya’s agricultural landscape through sustainable innovation. Founded in February 2025, the company is currently in the ideation phase, laying the foundation for a comprehensive ecosystem that empowers local farmers while ensuring high-quality, globally competitive organic products. Our Evolution MeghEssence Organics builds upon the foundation set by Megha Mountain Organics, a sole proprietorship launched in 2023 to source and market organic products directly from farmers. While Megha Mountain Organics focused on global distribution, MeghEssence Organics expands this vision by incorporating processing, direct farmer support, and technology-driven solutions to create a self-sustaining agricultural ecosystem. Our Vision We aim to create a tech-enabled, farmer-first agribusiness that provides value-added services in processing, storage, direct market access, and scientific research. Our goal is to enhance the livelihoods of farmers by offering solutions that address key challenges in organic agriculture. Our Focus Areas Lakadong Turmeric Processing & Storage – Establishing a facility to help farmers meet international quality standards while charging only a 1% commission. Farmer-Centric Digital Marketplace – Developing an online platform to connect Meghalaya’s farmers directly with global buyers. Integrated Poultry & Piggery Farming – Supporting sustainable meat production while manufacturing organic manure for women-led FPOs and SHGs. AI-Driven Agricultural Research – Exploring machine learning applications for yield optimization, soil health analysis, and climate resilience. NABL-Certified Testing Lab (Future Phase) – Creating a facility for easy access to quality certification and product testing. Currently, MeghEssence Organics is in the early planning and development stages, working closely with stakeholders to bring this vision to life
