About the MEI RI LUM LLPSIGNIFICANCE OF THE NAME USED: Dear Concern this is to inform you that the name which we have used in company name has it's significance. The word “MEI-RI LUM ” originally derived from the local language of Meghalaya which is in the north eastern state of India.’' ‘’MEI-RI LUM” is a Khasi Language which has two meaning combined together. 'Mei’ means mother and ‘’Lum” ‘means land so its Mother Land . So it's sound like 'mother land which is very bold. As it’s a unique name in which we prefer the most the water is ultimately originates from precipitation – resin and melted snow seep into the ground where they collect as ground water in porous rock materials (aquifer) lying above a relatively impervious layer of rock (confining Bed)all are exist from the earth or land. The top of this layer of ground water is called the water table. A spring occurs where ground water emerge into the land surface via a fracture contact zone /other opening. Ground water occurs in permeable (porous) rock. Mei-ri Lum appeals limited edition, precious, care, premium, respect, assurance, trust and healthy Therefore our tagline is “Save water for your bright future and MEI RI LUM water for your good health”. Elaboration: (Story That Resonate With Us) The people of Meghalaya always familiar with the word ‘LAND ’ and when they hear this they will picture our respectful to the existence of all the living things on land. So, if we talk about the Planet Earth it is 71% filled with water and roughly 60% is what we need in our body. All living thing need water in order to survive but we human being need something very special so that we can improve our health because 71% of water is not suitable for drinking. Therefore we want to make sure people will get the best mineral water providing by “MEI-RI LUM” . INTRODUCTION: Water is the basis necessity of life in all aspects of human needs we required water as one of the basis consumed to live. It is needless to mention that water, a compound of hydrogen and oxygen is a precious natural gift which is very essential for survival of mankind including animals. Water is used for portable purposes should be free from undesirable impurities. Water available from untreated sources such as Well, Boreholes and spring is generally not hygienic and safe for drinking. Thus it is a desirable and necessary to purify the water and supply under hygienic conditions for human drinking purpose as the name implies. Mineral water is the purified water fortified with requisite amounts of minerals such as barium, iron, manganese etc., which can absorbed by human body. It is either obtained from natural resources like spring and drilled wells or it is fortified artificially by blending and treating with mineral salts. Mineral water shall be manufactured and packed under hygienic conditions sin properly washed and cleaned bottles in sterilized conditions. MARKET POTENTIAL” Unfortunately sufficient safe portable water is not available everywhere in the country, either harmful chemical substance are found in the layers of earth which enter in to water or it may be contaminated due to pathogenic micro-organisms. If such water is consumed, the body suffers from water born diseases. Due to this, it has become imperative to process and bottle safe portable water for the mankind in prevailing conditions. The demand for purified water becomes more during summer season. Although few companies have already entered in the bottling of safe portable water and mineralized water, but still huge gap is there in between demand and supply at all metropolitan cities and towns. The product is widely accepted in offices, restaurants, railway stations, airport, but stands, hospitals and to some extent in rich house-holds. So there is good scope for establishing the units for processing and bottling plain and mineralized drinking water in different parts of the country. BASIS & PRESUMPTIONS I. This project is based on single shift basis and 300 working days in a year. II. The cost of machinery & equipment /materials indicated refers to a particular make and the prices are approximate to these prevailing at the time of preparation of this profile. The cost of packaging, forwarding tax etc. and installation electrification of machinery is taken @ non-refundable deposits, project cost, trial production, fees etc. are considered under pre-operative expenses.
