Introduction : With the looming shortage of energy and materials and to keep up with both Environmental Legislation and Regulations along with the Economies of Disposal in the present scenario, solid waste should be treated as one of the main potential resources in the steel industry. In developing countries including India, an important practice in the steel industry for minimizing the generation of solid waste and maximizing the recycle of collected waste can be adopted to tide over future shortages. Innovation: We have developed a new, cost effective and proven technology to recycle steel industry metallurgical waste. metallurgical waste management at steel plants is now an integral part of Environmental Management as it is not only improving the cost economics through Recycling of waste it is also eliminating environment hazards, which were affecting air, water and soil. Technology developed by us is not only for gainful utilization of solid waste in production of conventional products but also for conversion of the same into new products for reuse and recycle. Scalability: As metallurgical industries are energy intensive and mostly environment subversive. We aim to install/operate our technology on BOO basis to assist the steel industries in recovery and recycling of the solid waste which were merely being dumped as useless material. Such solid waste were polluting in nature and affecting air, water, soil. Our innovation will result in decrease of per capita energy utilization and harmful waste emission.
