Our company invented a do-it-yourself blood collection, storage and transportation device. This device does not exist anywhere else in the world (hence, it's innovative) We intend to use the blood collected in this device for HIV drug resistance testing, in a process that is an improvement over existing testing techniques. Once the device is piloted, optimized and certified, it can drastically increase the accessibility to laboratory testing and research, thereby scaling these processes many fold.
