Myself Shruthi Suresh would like to pitch our Entrepreneur journey of Momolicious . Kindly mind some time in reading our journey. Journey: We three young pampered girls wanted to settle our selfs with the best career in our life . Life has been different for all three of us. Our taste buds have always been to look out for new and upcoming restaurants in the city during our collage days. We graduated together with a MBA Degree in GRD College Coimbatore. We three offer endeavour in our own specialised departments . Two of us Sona and Prathiksha served in financial organisation and Shruthi worked for Harley Davidson in marketing. As days passed by , being foodies our inner urge was to startup a theme based café/Restaurant ,also being from a second generation Entrepreneur family,after gaining enough knowledge and money from previous organisation, and after analysing the demand for dumpling (momo) well back from our college days , we took a foot step forward and started a café called Momolicious which means Momos that are delicious with tag line of Good Food Language . What do we say it was an absolute roller coaster ride, sleep less days, mood swings, long walks in the streets searching for vendors, pooling in all savings etc. The total investment of the project is estimated around 23 Lakhs and we would definitely say we made profit from day 1. Also having tested this business model for quite 7 months we are now looking forward for expansion. We have plans for opening few more company operated outlets in the city, and is also open for franchise for rest of CBE. Our Momolicious family was shaped by numerous friends, well wishers. Initially our parents supported our idea, which turned out to be our exciting careers. We found our beloved person who now turned out to be one among our family member Executive Chef Mr. Selva from Golden Landmark Resorts Mysore who serves to be our pillar of strength, backbone and mentor from day 1. Chef Mr.Gunasekaran our head chef young chap who is ambitious and constantly pools in ideas to improve our café with innovative cuisines. Successful people always tend to help growing people similarly Mr.C.K.Kumaravel managing director of Naturals mentored us and helped us improve with business ,career and franchise ideas. In Momolicious we treat employees as friends. They are part of Momolicious family. These friendly nature towards our employee is helping us in reducing employee attrition. During our initial stage as mere employers we believed that taking care of them will boost up the growth and bring good results in team work. We being with different strength and weakness decided to split works amount each others based on our own knowledge and strength ,Shruthi heads up Labour ,business development and compliance , Sona heads on Purchase, operations & Prathiksha heads on Finance & supply chain .
