In their own words
Mother Belt is a wearable safety innovation designed to protect pregnant women—particularly those in India’s working population—from abdominal trauma due to falls or impacts in workplaces, transport, and sports. Backed by WHO and ILO data, over 30 million women in India’s formal and informal workforce—60% of childbearing age—face daily risk of injury during pregnancy. These incidents not only endanger maternal and fetal health but also lead to absenteeism, reduced workplace participation, and long-term productivity losses. By preventing such injuries, Mother Belt directly supports maternal health, improves workforce retention, and enhances national productivity. It is especially valuable in sectors like manufacturing, fieldwork, public transport, and athletics, where physical risk is high and female participation is rising.Estimated GDP Boost: ₹3,750 to ₹7,000 crore/year (~ $450M to $850M USD/year) (this is done by ChatGPT from my end I think it's a good calculation). This is just from empowering working pregnant women to stay safe and active. It doesn’t include long-term productivity gains from healthier births, better neonatal care, or reduced healthcare costs—which would further boost GDP.Credible Support Sources:https://www.worldbank.org/en/news/feature/2023/10/10/more-female-workers-could-boost-output-by-9-in-manufacturinghttps://www.mckinsey.com/featured-insights/employment-and-growth/the-power-of-parity-advancing-womens-equality-in-indiahttps://ilostat.ilo.org/data/

The neighbourhood
This record carries no locality line, so the district is the finest ring we can place it in.
What we do not know
- no CIN on file, so no company-registry record is linked
- no incorporation date
- no funding signal of any kind
- no address beyond the district
We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.
