MOTOPSY – Vehicle History Report Mission- Our Mission is to build a culture of technologically recording and sharing all events in a vehicle’s life-cycle, enabling users to make informed buying and selling decisions. About MOTOPSY- MOTOPSY aspires to be the most technologically advanced and ever so evolving vehicle database in India, providing real-time Vehicle Service History to individuals and businesses. We aim is to use technology to gather, analyze and share historical information about vehicles to help people make sound buying decision and further reduce pre-owned vehicle sale scams like Odometer Tempering, uninformed sale of Accidental/ Flooded/ Stolen/ Poorly maintained vehicles etc. Nature of Business- We are in business of providing information using internet about health and usability of vehicles in India to clients. Motopsy gathers info about vehicles via API integration and processes it to help our users make informed decision while appraising vehicles. By use of intelligent technology to process vehicle’s historical maintenance and legal records, we will not only be able to quantitatively rate health of vehicles in India but help curb malpractices prevalent in Pre-owned vehicle sales in India. Common malpractices that affect pre-owned vehicle buyers in India are- • Odometer Tampering • Accidental and Flooded cars being restored ungoverned and sold uninformed • Stolen vehicles being sold • Poorly maintained cars with weary engines being cosmetically improved and sold uninformed At present, there is only mPaarivahan as an unbiased platform that enables users to get RTO linked information. To ascertain quality and safety of any vehicle, one also need to counter check critical parameters like Accidental, Flooded, Theft and Periodic Service Maintenance records. This is where Motopsy empowers users with both - RTO and historical maintenance data to determine legality and mechanical health of a vehicle. Long term, Motopsy aspires to create a culture wherein every vehicle user in India consciously records all events in a vehicle life cycle on Motopsy sever, enabling accurate and credible assessment. Vehicles with accurate historical records will ascertain confidence and credibility in assessing worthiness of a vehicle. This information will not only help owners to command higher resale value for a well maintained vehicles but also suppress malpractices that malign pre-owned vehicle business in India.
