Mumtree is an educational toy company with to mission torevolutionize how education is imparted to kids at an early age. Itsinnovative “toy curriculum” provides learning opportunities to kids by use of toysdepending on their individual development needs as opposed to a standardclassroom curriculum for all.The biggest problem being solved by Mumtree is that currently there exists a huge gapbetween education and skill for kids. While formal teaching is good atcatering to the educational part for a child, it still leaves a very big gap interms of developing early-age skills like Cognitive, Communication, Social& Emotional Empathy, and Fine-Motor skills. These skills become the bedrockof a professional aspirational of a child-like becoming an engineer, writer,pilot, artist, and many others, and can best be honed in the tender years with the use of activity and concept-based learning. So, Mumtree developed a unique and innovative solution, called the “Toy-Curriculum” for kids aged 1-7 years which is a skill and age-definedpathway for kids to learn the key skills and concepts just by playing with thetoys. Additionally, all the toys and learning content is designed, developed & Made in India with help of local artisans, in-house designers, industry experts, and parents themselves.
