Muskotia is situated 17 kms off Nainital town in the state of Uttrakhand, India. Promoters Vision is to create an exceptional experience hospitality and Wellness services to guests in the Himalayas. Muskotia site is surrounded by Kilbury forest (An international Bird conservatory), site is overlooking the snow clad Himalayas and located on Top of the mountain. Key USP of the site and our development is Location-Location and Location. Muskotia site is located at height of 7200 feet (2100 meters) above sea level. It is just 35/40 minutes drive from main Nainital town. Drive is through beautiful Oak tree forest also famous for Birding with very rich flora, fauna and bio diversity. Muskotia developments uses number of sustainable methods of living like 100% rain and snow water harvesting, Using Steel-Pre fabricated building, Herb farming, Promoting local Kumaoni food in Brass and Bronze utensils and many more. Vision on Wellness is to provide Yoga, Meditation and Basic SPA services. On the hospitality side provide highly sustainable Resort cottages with minimalist design but very high on comfort, far from luxury but providing all kinds of basic services like Heating, Independent water Geyser, Tata Sky connection, DIY-tea/coffee. The two cottages currently constructed are on contours of the hill without too much damage to the hill formation. Cottages are surrounded with WILD SCAPE landscaping to add to the experiential stay of the guest. We are a Private Limited Company incorporated in 2012 with Husband and Wife as Directors. We are looking at expanding our capacity to house guests from current 2 cottages to 10 cottages. Hence looking for funding options and support in scaling our operations. We are witnessing a huge surge in demand from work from home category, Leisure travelers, Guests preferring to stay in Nature and off beat locations, Guests getting away from cookie cutter hotel services to more personalized experience of stay. We stay on site and are deeply involved in guest services.
