HIMACHAL FILM CITY is the name of this project which will be developed under the NAMITAZ FILMCITY PROJECTS PVT. LTD., managed by four Shareholders/Partners/ Directors: Mrs. Namita Sharma, Mr. Padam Chand Verma, Mr. Siddharth Sharma and Ms. Deepali Thakur. The concept of Himachal Film City is conceived with the motive to conserve and promote culture and tradition of Himachal Pradesh. We are already running a Music School in the name and style of ‘Anant Sangeet Kala Kendra, Solan’ affiliated to “Prayag Sangeet Samiti,” Allahabad since 2001. We have already contributed in this area with the production of four episodes of ‘Sambhav Kya/ Mano ya na mano’ produced and directed by Siddharth Kak (Surabhi Fame). Two DVD albums promoting Himachali Folk Music namely LOKLEHRI and CHANDNIYA RAATA RA NAZARA has already been released which were inaugurated by then Governors of Himachal Pradesh. Some of the renowned directors/producers are already associated with us who have successfully completed several short movies and web series. We are also conducting the events like Mrs Himachal, Himkalash (In the Search of Folk Singers) under the banner of Himachal Film City.
