Graphene and its derivatives, including graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO), feature outstanding mechanical stability and lightweight. Without using additional components (conductive carbons and binders) or external weighty metal current collectors, free-standing flexible graphene-based electrodes present significant advantages on weight, cost, and energy density over traditional electrodes. So here I like to propose a novel graphene-based flexible battery which uses the only graphene as the conductive material and natural collagen as the binder.
