NANOVERSE BIOMATERIALS PRIVATE LIMITED
Kota, Rajasthan
In their own words
GAI and GOBER is now an integral part of Startup ecosystem by contributing in Economy and Sustainable Development Goals to make the universe livable. Nanotechnology is the gamechanger for the next generation material science in association with Vedic Vigyan. Livestock dung can be used to create the next generation of cellulosic materials. We developed the process of extracting high-value manure-derived nano biomaterials from ruminant animals such as cattle. We use manure for the extraction of nanocellulose and lignin—a prospective bio-based nano materials and nano composites. There is a trade-off between the performance of the material and the amount of processing required to achieve this—Nanoverse has developed the capacity of RWB to replace conventional materials with nano biomaterials on a commercial level. We have developed a commercial manufacturing process and performance of sustainable composites with nanocellulose and lignin-based reinforcements extracted essentially from ruminant waste. This is very promising for future sustainable materials applications in the extraction of nanocellulose from manure. We also developed potential roadmap to consider synthetic biology routes to make viable biobased materials from manure, and moving the production of materials towards a sustainable, circular, and local supply chain. Poor conditions of stray cattle and dry/weak cows, illegally leading them to slaughter houses. Low profit margins at dairy farms or unsustainability of gaushalas running on voluntarily /donation are also the matter of concern. Poor disposal management system of dung leads to health and environmental hazards. Making the gaushalas sustainable is very much possible by valorizing cow dung into high value novel materials which are in growing demand with industries in various sectors. Due to the sacred value of Cows and wide network and ecosystem of gaushalas, India has the potential to be the world leader of manufacturing nanocellulose, lignin.
