With rapid urbanization and a growing population, waste generation has increased significantly, leading to severe environmental and public health concerns. Municipal Solid Waste Management (MSWM) is one of the most pressing challenges in urban and semi-urban areas, particularly in developing countries like India. The country generates over 55 million tons of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) annually, a number that continues to rise. Despite efforts to improve waste management, large amounts of waste still end up in open dumps and landfills, causing pollution, groundwater contamination, and greenhouse gas emissions. While megacities and metro areas have begun adopting systematic waste management strategies, smaller towns and cities (with populations under 1 lakh) struggle with inadequate waste collection and disposal infrastructure. Under initiatives such as Swachh Bharat Mission￾Urban 2.0 (SBM-U 2.0), the government is encouraging sustainable and efficient waste management solutions. This proposal outlines a plan for a start-up dedicated to transforming waste management through an innovative, technology-driven, and community-focused approach. Vision and Mission The vision of this start-up is to redefine solid waste management by turning waste into a valuable resource, thereby reducing landfill dependency and promoting sustainability. The company aims to build a scalable and replicable waste management model that integrates modern technology, efficient processing, and community participation. Mission Statement: • To develop innovative waste management solutions that ensure sustainable disposal and resource recovery. • To minimize waste sent to landfills by promoting waste segregation, recycling, and composting. • To engage and educate communities on responsible waste disposal practices. • To leverage digital solutions for efficient waste tracking, collection, and processing. • To collaborate with local bodies, businesses to create an integrated waste management ecosystem
