India like many other developing countries has a very large number of under banked population and digital transactions population. Traditionally accessibility is a big problem. People has to take a day off of work to travel miles to be able to go to office which is incredible inconvenience. There is great hesitation and fear to use mobile phone based digital transactions. Nayaseva has been involved with a verity of different initiatives in rural India with clients and government entities to Increase digital payments in the region. We are working with Grama/ward volunteer network to understand how they can leverage their vast infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh to help the under served and more rural Indian eco system. Grama/ward Volunteers is the single largest ecosystem in the country we are talking about. Volunteer institution has almost 2,40,000 people who are out there providing services at door step every month in Andhra Pradesh. If you look at this volunteer ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh it is a part of social fabric of any community. They provide Pension, Ration at 5am right at door step of every household under this network. So we wanted to Leverage the trust of the volunteer system to be able to now provide digital payments and Financial inclusion we wanted to equip almost 2,00,000 people with a simple POS machine and a biometric device and when they come to your doorstep that they have the ability to offer you complete digital payment services So people today will work with the customers explain to them how digital payments are important and how they can contribute and that is really making the difference at the last mile. By bringing nayaseva to use effectively at every single doorstep in Andhra Pradesh and in India that solution is more advance than most digital solution even in the advanced world It’s really important for communities across the world to embarrass fintech. Fintech isn’t trust a digital solution product. It’s actually helping how to use them. It’s actually helping them understanding how to use them how to budget. How financial services support there lives and ambitions. At Nayaseva we that vision for financial to be one that is an enabler to rally change the world to address understand unbanked markets to bring people into the digital payments ecosystemwhich of course way to drive economic growth across the world. Grama/ward volunteer been able to touch a lot of lives the rural digital payments will go up by almost tow and half times in the country that is the sort of access we are thinking about.
