Nellikka is an IT integrated waste management tool developed for the operation control of door to door waste pickers. It ensure performance of the picking staff, their attendance and target management , ensure cooperation of the people with the system, if not cooperating information will be passed to ward member , health inspector and secretary of that particular Local Self Government (LSGD). Manage collection of source level segregated waste, user fee collection and SMS receipt. Pickup location dropping for drivers to reach the waste picking point created by picking staff, GPS tracking of staff and vehicle , volume of waste collected and their volume in the storage and the finance management of the entire activity. Nellikka is known as the first IT integrated waste management system in Kerala, worked as per the guidelines of Kerala State Haritha Kerala Mission for clean Kerala as per the Swatch Bharath Guidelines for the state government.Nellikka means gooseberry in Malayalam. as you know the taste of gooseberry is very sour at first, but slowly it will turn into very sweet in the end. We are following this theory in waste management. source segregation of inorganic waste into plastic covers, hard plastic, papers, e-waste,shoes, bags... oh.. not possible... and pay user fee for removing waste... oh.. no... not possible...Thaliparamba municipality of Kannur dis of Kerala was our pilot project, Nellikka is an operation control application for waste management to monitor each residence and commercials in a local self government following all the rules and regulation of Swatch Bharath Mission of central and Haritha Kerala Mission of Kerala State and make sure all are participating in the program designed by Municipality and no public disposal of waste is happening. We are very successful in Thaliparamba Municipality and looking into our success story, now we are invited to expand our operations to Kannur Corporation, Azhikode , Chirakal, Pariyaram and Azhikode Gramapanchayath ok Kannur Dis of Kerala, all together of about 1.5Lks Residence.Looking into the current scenario , Nellikka is planning to introduce an application to public which will boost the local economy by connecting the local farmers, home made products, fisher men, vendors, manufacturers, traders so that local economy will get a grate support. Will connect Local Government Scheme and krishi bhavan schemes to the people. options to find local jobs for skilled workers like plumber, gardening, farming, electronics repair, electric work...
