New Era Book Agency, the organization was established and groomed as books and publishing firm by Late Sh. S.R. Sharma (S. Rama - 1916-2003), M.A., B.Lib.Sc.; after completing spotless distinguished service, and his retirement in 1977 as Asstt. Librarian from Panjab University Library, Chandigarh. He also participated actively in India’s Freedom Struggle; got National/State honours and recognitions as freedom fighter. The firm was being looked after by Nalin Sharma, B.Com. as Partner/CEO having exhaustive experience of production, marketing, accounts and sales and Anil Sharma, B.Sc. (Med.), M.A., M.Phil. (Public Admn.); Dip. in Computer Management as Partner/Publishing Editor. With decades of unique experience, expertise, professional approach, honesty, ethics and in-depth exceptional grass root knowledge in all aspects of book trade, we are growing slowly and steadily. Editing Production and Marketing are managed professionally by well educated and experienced personnel. With excellent communication facilities and computerized environment, which is a pre-requisite for effective business communication these days, we are in touch with the whole world. Even in present day publishing scenario, we are still one of the very few publishers whose first and foremost aim is to publish books that offer in true sense the innovative learning experience, teaching solutions and contributing significantly in the field and discipline. With passionate faith in basic values of education, ours is an independent publishing house bringing out limited but genuine titles each year, with the accent on quality. We cannot always publish all that we would like to. True and genuine publishing demands huge investments that also without any assured returns. Financial considerations and constrains do not allow us to publish every good book. Publishers have limitations; still we are always on the lookout for genuine, interesting and original manuscripts. With passion to notice and publish unknown or new authors with potential NEW ERA is satisfied to represent a carefully selected family of authors and editors. High quality book work requires dedication and commitment. NEW ERA work closely with genuine and dedicated authors/editors to produce and publish the most outstanding work. We take personal interest in each project and oversee every aspect and give personal attention of the highest caliber to every author with our professional, expertise and guidance during the entire process to assure accuracy and consistency of style. The successful integration of editorial, designing, production, publicity and marketing efforts ensures the distinction and strength of NEW ERA. We intend to set the standard for our products by combining quality with innovation.
