NEXCOPE Private Limited is a DeepTech and SpaceTech startup focused on developing innovative, scalable, and software-defined solutions for next-generation satellite imaging and data transmission. The company has developed a proprietary visual media compression technology that dramatically reduces memory and computational requirements compared to conventional systems, enabling efficient deployment in resource-constrained environments. NEXCOPE is developing a state-of-the-art on-board Ultra Image Compression Technology, capable of achieving up to 80× compression with minimal quality loss, while requiring drastically lower memory and computational resources than traditional systems. The compression engine is universally compatible with grayscale, RGB, infrared, hyperspectral, and radar imaging, delivering output quality competitive with JPEG2000 but optimized for SWaP-constrained platforms. The technology is embedded within a Plug-and-Play Payload Bus Imaging Solution designed for nano-satellites and small satellites, significantly reducing payload development complexity, integration timelines, and overall mission costs. The system also integrates a centralized satellite diagnostics subsystem, enabling real-time health monitoring and analytics across onboard sensors. The core compression technology has been successfully demonstrated at TRL-5 and is currently being integrated into engineering models for field trials and orbital testing, targeting TRL-6 readiness.
