NEXTBITE Consumer Products Private Limited is an Assam-based FoodTech and FMCG startup focused on developing a diversified portfolio of makhana-based, better-for-you and roasted snack products for children, families, adults, fitness consumers and senior consumers. The company's proposed core innovation is a Makhana Recovery & Re-Engineering concept aimed at exploring the potential use of suitable broken, undersized and irregular makhana fractions for value-added food applications and engineered snack formats. The proposed innovation includes exploring products such as Makhana Stix, Protein Pops, Makhana Crisps, Puffs and other engineered snack formats with different shapes, textures, flavours and nutritional positioning. After securing the required funding, NEXTBITE plans to undertake structured R&D covering raw-material evaluation, formulation development, process trials, prototype development, sensory evaluation, quality validation and shelf-life studies. Alongside the proposed innovation, the company plans to develop commercially scalable snack categories including Kidz Makhana, Trail Mix, Roasted Peanuts, Roasted Chana and Executive Mix in multiple flavours. NEXTBITE aims to build a scalable Assam-based FMCG business serving domestic retail, e-commerce, institutional and B2B channels, with a long-term objective of expanding from Assam to markets across India and internationally through export opportunities.
