This intelligent cane integrates a Raspberry Pi, ultrasonic sensors, AI camera, GPS module, SOS button, and a connected mobile application. The system provides real-time obstacle detection from ground to head level, voice-guided navigation, and location awareness. Users can speak their destination, and the mobile app calculates the safest route, guiding them via audio instructions and informing them about transportation options, distance, and estimated travel time. The SOS feature sends the user's live location to emergency contacts. The cane also recognizes objects such as stairs, crosswalks, and traffic signals to improve situational awareness. Our goal is to create a cost-effective and user-friendly mobility aid that enhances the independence, safety, and confidence of blind and visually impaired individuals in both urban and rural settings.
