Moving Roll (Nimanztion Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) addresses a critical inefficiency in Rajasthan’s mining logistics ecosystem. Every day, a large number of trucks exit mining hubs loaded but return empty due to the absence of an organized return-load coordination system. These empty return miles increase operational costs, reduce driver income, and significantly raise carbon emissions. Existing logistics platforms struggle to serve remote mining belts because of difficult terrain and low network availability. To solve this, Moving Roll has developed a tech-enabled platform tailored specifically for mining logistics. Our core innovation is a loop-based routing system that intelligently matches returning mine trucks with nearby freight demand, minimizing empty trips. The platform is optimized for low-bandwidth rural environments, ensuring reliable operations even in 2G or poor network areas. By digitizing coordination, we replace traditional cash-based brokerage with a transparent and trackable logistics system. The startup operates on a commission-based transactional revenue model, earning a fixed service fee on freight booked through the platform. In addition, we offer value-added services such as subscription-based dashboards for mine contractors and priority access to high-demand return-load routes for drivers, creating recurring revenue streams. The model is highly scalable, as empty return miles are a common challenge across mining hubs nationwide. Since Moving Roll focuses on technology and coordination rather than owning a physical fleet, expansion to new regions requires minimal capital. While our initial focus is Rajasthan’s mineral belt, the platform is designed to scale across major mining corridors in North and Central India.
