Nivraa is a clean and sustainable biotech startup incubated at IIT Hyderabad, transforming agricultural waste and fungi into next-generation materials and food innovations. At the intersection of biotechnology, material science, and circular design, we are pioneering mycelium-based solutions that replace plastics with clean, compostable, and scalable alternatives. Beyond packaging, our R&D extends into fungal materials such as leather, textiles, and composites, creating low-carbon innovations designed for a regenerative future. Alongside material science, Nivraa also cultivates exotic and functional mushrooms such as Shiitake, Oyster, and Reishi, known for their nutraceutical and health-conscious properties. By leveraging India’s rich agricultural byproducts, we build local bio-manufacturing ecosystems that are both sustainable and economically inclusive.
