The venture started as a novel idea of providing in-person Retail and Lifestyle experience to the consumers of Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities who have been deprived of it, given flux of Retailers focusing on the larger concentration and aggregation in Metros and Tier 1 cities. As we discovered the average consumers across the categories of towns, have become empowered enough and brand/fashion conscious, thanks to the internet revolution to take wise decisions. On top of that in these towns people have better disposable incomes as well leisure times and lack of options in comparison to bigger towns to visit the retail stores to have touch and feel experience rather than relying on online shopping mode only. Although, e-commerce platform has its own potential of scaling up, we as a strategy, have planned to hit online in the second phase of our growth, consolidating our position in sourcing, branding and offline presence first at the moment. We started with setting up first Nix Men’s store in May 2021 offering casual apparel choices to buyer, this store at Jamui (811307) has crossed INR 50 Lacs of annual sales volume. The second store SHE by Nix targetting Women's customer was opened in Mar 2022 which is seeing fairly good foot-fall and enquiries. Post March, Nix has tied-up with few reputed Manufactures to launch its own Private Label in these stores with the name of “Nick & Tan” and “Nick & Tan Couture” and samples have been placed to get customer’s feedback. Going further in geographic reach location at nearby districts of Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai and Muger in Bihar have been finalized and we plan to launch the Unisex Apparel stores within next 2 quarters selling Private Labels.
