NKT Infra, under the brand Tanshika Composites, is a pioneering startup engaged in the manufacturing of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) rebars — an advanced alternative to conventional steel reinforcement. Our mission is to transform India’s infrastructure by addressing the key challenges of corrosion, shorter service life, high maintenance costs, and environmental impact associated with steel rebars. GFRP rebars are 3–4 times stronger and longer-lasting than steel, fully corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and easier to handle, ensuring superior performance in marine, coastal, tunnel, and high-moisture environments where steel often fails. By replacing steel with GFRP, we deliver significant lifecycle cost savings, reduced maintenance needs, and a faster return on investment (ROI) for both government and private projects.
