We’re building Nom, an AI-native operating system for restaurants. Restaurants today rely on multiple disconnected tools for POS, inventory, staff workflows, customer engagement, loyalty, events, and ordering. These systems don’t communicate well with each other and don’t help restaurants make better decisions. We’re building a unified system that connects these workflows — starting with POS, inventory management, QR menus, captain apps, and event management — and layering AI deeply into the product. Because our systems are connected, we capture structured data across the entire restaurant operation — sales, inventory movement, customer behavior, menu performance, and staff activity. This rich context layer allows us to build AI that actually understands what is happening inside a restaurant and helps automate workflows and improve decision-making. A key part of what we’re building is proactive AI. Instead of restaurants having to constantly check dashboards or reports, Nom continuously analyzes operations — sales, inventory, customer behavior, and performance — and surfaces insights and recommended actions automatically.
