We are making premium quality chips from tapioca with a maximum shelf life of 6 months. We found out the possible of chips in world snack market and potato chips are most selling chips in the world market . But our state Kerala and tamil nadu is number one is tapioca productivity . So there we saw a big opportunity that we can utilize all these tapioca to make perfect chips from tapioca , with better texture , crunchiness and shelf life , overall it can compete with potato chips. As a startup we are intend to making this with small scale machinery ( up to 2000 kg of productivity per month ) but will definitely intend to develop in to large scale production and export . There are some companies in the market doing tapioca chips , but they cannot compete to the multi national potato chips companies because , they are not concentrating on shelf life and maintaining the texture and crunchiness through out the validity period. But with our product we can maintain the quality of our product through out validity period with two techniques. 1. we you natural anti oxidants from companies like synthite , which will reduce oxidation speed of oil in the chip s, thus increase the shelf life 2. 4 layered packing cover : Other than preservatives the main element to maintain shelf life and quality of product is packing covers , all the multi national companies are using minimum 3 layers or 4 layered packing covering to prevent all other external elements to the food.We found out biggest companies like Uflex limited for that. Even basic , but with the machinery we use we could have a minimum productivity of 2000 kg per month . This productivity and quality of product will help us to grab the attention of leading distribution companies and supermarkets monopolies in out state.
