Contract farming to produce corn silage as cattle feed – Nurtiamore! Nurtiamore will use advanced technologies like Geomapping that will help cultivate small pieces of land together without boundaries. This will pave way for our usage of highly advanced machinery from tilling the field to harvesting by our advanced 500 Horse Power Forage harvestor. We will make use of the best silage hybrid seeds available and package our silage with quality films which increases its shelf life to 18 months. The silage we will make will increase the milk production in cows by about 30% from the third day of intake. The main objective of our product is the improve the quality and quantity of milk being produced in our country and it shall also improve the health of our cattle which we consider holy in India. There are several peripheral improvements which the project would bring about like the doubling of farmer income, making dairy farming more sustainable and profitable since the cost of inputs will decrease and simultaneously the milk yield shall increase improving revenue. India has 25% of the worlds cattle and each cow needs 20kg of silage per day, at our offered price which will be lower than the current prevailing feeds the demand is umimaginable. Nurtiamore will first work on 600 acres of land with one set of machinery to produce 24000 tons of silage per years. With such a demand across India and availability of corn farming which is increasing every year the project is only a drop in the ocean. The start up will manufacture cattle feed from corn crop. In India there is a huge production of corn and drastic shortage of high nutrient cattle feed which leads to farmers distress and non viable dairy farming. The project will generate wealth for the farmers and viability for dairy farms by converting corn crop into high grade cattle feed by the latest process available in the world.
