The Valley of Kashmir is acknowledged by many but only a few get to observe its allure and grace to the roots, and for the ones who do, they fall head-over-heels for its splendour. As did our founder - Rahul Sharma. Our inquisitiveness for Kashmiri craft, artistry and regionally grown eatables took us through a course of discovery and identification of the most bona fide form of each. It finally cemented in the sun-baked alleys of Kashmir where we found time-honoured gems in the form of local Kashmiris who helped us in taking our sentiment and fondness for the Valley to around the globe. Mecraaz was our first step towards creating a conclusive platform for our love for Kashmiri artistry and culture. At Mecraaz, we bring glory and prestige to the perennial age-old craft of Pashminas. Every weave speaks of our rooted infatuation for the celestial Valley. But we didn’t stop there and wanted to expand Kashmir’s global stature by offering the world the most esteemed endowment of the Valley—Kashmiri Saffron. Thus, was born ‘KesarCo’. The world is offering dross in the name of Kashmiri Saffron and it is a known fact. This is why we decided to meld our passion for food and Kashmir and levitate what truly deserves to be levitated in the affluent markets. Not only did we spend a cordial amount of time visiting every nook and corner of the Valley to find natives who are versed veterans of this technique but also made sure to excel the experience personally before surrendering it to the world. We believe in relishing the love for Kashmiri artistry through people who are equitably passionate about it. Our goal has always been to bring you not just commodities but authenticity, distinction and experiences. And this is why we went the extra mile to bring a product like no other. Our saffron is exceptional and peerless not because we say it but because it is officially certified. Kashmiri Saffron was also bestowed with the GI tag in July 2020 which brought it immense praise globally. Kashmir is the finest producer of Saffron in the world and this is what we want to revive. KesarCo will not just bring you a product but an experience and a long-gone tale straight from the deepest corner in the heart of Kashmir. To your homes, from our hearts!
