In their own words
Mr. Pradeep Dwivedi did his B. Tech. (Food engineering) and M. Tech (Chemical engineering). This is followed by 23 years of extensive experience in different sectors of food and agro industry. Motivated to do something more meaningful, Mr. Dwivedi started working with farmers. He inspired farmers to do cash crops such as Quinoa, Tulsi and Chicory. In 2013, Mr. Dwivedi established Nutrelis Agro Foods in NOIDA UP to provide farmers a consistent market channel for their cash crops. CEO of New Delhi based Prajna Agro Associates, he started the Quinoa cultivation in the village of Bauwa of UP. With the success of pilot setup with the farmer Mr Hira Lal, other farmers started farming Quinoa under the umbrella of Nutrelis Agro and Prajna Agro. Today more than 250 farmers are successfully reaping benefits of Quinoa, Tulsi and Chicory farming. Farmers earned more than Rs. 3,92,500 per hectare per crop with an investment of Rs. 45,000 per hectare per crop within 120 days of crop cycle. Nutrelis agro also produces seeds of Quinoa and provides them to farmers at less than one-third of the market price. Four years since Quinoa cultivation first started, all farmers in the village have now adopted it. Their income increased by more than 30%. Inspired by the prosperity brought to the village Bauwa, nearly all farmers from nearby villages such as Dharampur, Kriti-khera and Allampur gariya have now adopted Quinoa as a stable crop. Value addition of Quinoa has empowered rural women. These women formed self-help groups for the holistic development of their family and village. These groups have now started setting up automated grain processing units. With the help of these processing units, women of Bauwa village have stretched their reach to urban open markets. Mr. Dwivedi has also helped in providing these women training in the production of derivatives such as cookies and multi-grain flour. Bauwa village is considered as a model village of Quinoa in India. Today, since its inception Nutrelis Agro Foods has expanded and established its footprint in retail, wholesale/trading and export sectors. It started with the purpose of providing stable buyer for the farmers of Bauwa, Nutrelis Agro is a self-sustaining and profit making business. At present, it is on an expedited path to expand overseas in countries such as Singapore, Thailand and Germany. Nutrelis Agro Foods have more than 110 organic products. These products range from Organic lentils to organic coffee and tea. Mr. Dwivedi has published 55 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and 70 conference and proceeding publications. He is also author and co-author of 8 books. Mr. Dwivedi was given the best entrepreneur award in 2016 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. This record carries no locality line, so the district is the finest ring we can place it in.
What we do not know
- no CIN on file, so no company-registry record is linked
- no incorporation date
- no address beyond the district
We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.
