The majority of citizens involved cannot understand their own case status, do not know their legal rights, and are unaware that free legal aid exists through NALSA. The eCourts website is in English and technically complex. Court notices and legal documents are inaccessible to Hindi-speaking and rural citizens. Legal helplessness perpetuates poverty, enables exploitation, and undermines constitutional guarantees of justice.Nyayarakshak is a free, Hindi-first, mobile-optimised legal awareness platform with 10 integrated modules built on official government eCourts Partner API data and AI: 1. CASE TRACKER — Citizens enter their CNR number and instantly receive their next hearing date, full case history, and downloadable court order PDFs in simple Hindi. 2. AI RIGHTS ASSISTANT — Citizens describe their legal problem by voice or text in Hindi or English. The system identifies the exact applicable law, section number, whether the offence is bailable or non-bailable, punishment range, step-by-step action plan, and what to say to a lawyer. 3. LEGAL LIBRARY — 511 IPC sections, 484 CrPC provisions, 395 Constitutional articles, and 100 standard legal procedures — all available in Hindi and English. 4. LEGAL DICTIONARY — Common legal terms explained in plain Hindi for citizens with no legal background. 5. EVIDENCE VAULT — Encrypted, PIN-protected secure storage for photos, audio, PDFs, and documents. GPS-tagged and timestamped automatically. Evidence is retrievable from any device even if the original phone is lost, stolen, or destroyed. Remote device logout available. 6. DOCUMENT SCANNER — Citizens scan any court notice, summons, or legal document and receive a plain Hindi explanation instantly. 7. RESOURCE LOCATOR — Real-time GPS-based locator showing real names and distances of nearest police station, district court, state High Court, NALSA District Legal Services Authority, and women helpline numbers. One-tap calling and directions. 8. LEGAL COST ESTIMATOR — Estimates total case cost based on city tier, type of case, and lawyer experience level. Shows lawyer fees, court fees, expected duration, and cost-saving alternatives like Lok Adalat. 9.
