Odditty is a dynamic startup based in Bangalore, founded by architects and art enthusiasts Rohit Katwe and Shrihari Vaidya. We are a community-driven platform that collaborates with artists and product designers to create unique, contemporary decor items. Our passion for architecture remained strong, but we yearned to build something we could call our own. We are surrounded by a vibrant and creative circle of friends including artists, models, photographers, illustrators and other creatives. Bangalore, known as the birthplace of startups, the city of immense possibilities, became the perfect backdrop for our entrepreneurial dreams. The Indian art market is fragmented, with many talented artists facing challenges such as lack of recognition, exploitation, and inadequate compensation. There is also a lack of platforms that effectively blend traditional art techniques with modern design, leaving a gap in the market for unique, story-driven decor items. Odditty addresses these challenges by bringing together a diverse community of artists and designers to create out-of-the-ordinary decor pieces. Our platform not only showcases their work but also ensures they are fairly compensated through profit-sharing and royalties. We provide customers with the option to change art pieces themselves using our unique and playful kits, enhancing their experience and engagement with our brand.
