OWLBYAI LLP

DPIIT recognised District AI

In their own words

Owlby is an AI learning companion for children ages 7–14, designed to develop independent thinking rather than content recall. Built by a practising classroom teacher, Owlby uses the Socratic method to guide students through questions — helping them arrive at understanding themselves, rather than receiving answers. The app offers three learning experiences: conversational AI tutoring, personalised stories tied to the child's interests, and adaptive bite-sized lessons. Each experience is designed around a single outcome: a child who knows how to think, not just what to memorise. Owlby is soon to be live on the Apple App Store and operates a hybrid B2C/B2B model: Direct consumer subscriptions and institutional licensing to schools. The first school pilot launches at a Hong Kong public school in March 2026. Founded under Startup India (LLPIN: ACO-2969), Owlby is seeking seed funding to expand school pilots across English-speaking markets, build an educator analytics dashboard, and develop the outcomes data needed for institutional adoption at scale.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
