Pathika Technologies Pvt. Ltd. operates in the tourism and allied services industry. Heritage tourism is a key area of focus for us. We are keen on creating technology-oriented solutions that address the information deficit regarding the many and varied historic monuments and sites across India. By doing so, we intend to enrich and enhance a user’s experience of visiting such heritage destinations. Our mobile-first offering will bring together authentic information around the history, architecture, sculptures, carvings, inscriptions, myths and folklore, political context and other important details regarding a heritage site such as a temple or fort, all delivered as an interactive and detailed ‘on-site’ guide. The current alternatives to our intended product are personal guides, purchasing guide books or relying on information in websites/social media channels/travelogues of other tourists. Our innovation & differentiators will be providing structured and convenient access to well-researched content by subject matter students & experts and ‘on-site’ description of the monument sections that the user would be viewing. In the long-term, we will seek to offer allied services that complement and enhance the experiences of tourists visiting these destinations. We envisage providing our coverage of heritage destinations across India. Tourism is well recognized as a key economic growth driver and is a priority sector across many states. We hope that our competitively priced offerings will add significant value to tourists, and consequently increase footfalls to these destinations – thereby also positively influencing local economies. We also intend that our offering contributes meaningfully towards preserving our culture & heritage.
