Planning to set up a manufacturing unit of Assam based traditional heritage liquor made from fermented rice. Assam heritage liquor has medicinal values and is also good for health. Its commercial production is not done so far. In villages the liquor is produced in household for family consumption only. This beverage is also offered during rituals and ceremonies in the villages of Assam. Also offered to guests as a mark of respect during visits to households. If produced commercially and marketed well it has the ability to surpass Goanese Fenni and can also compete with costly wine of other countries. This product has vast scope in National and International market also.
