What? Pictink is a storytelling platform using images and short videos, and a collaboration space for storytellers. Pictink allows users to create and publish Picturestories in matter of minutes, share it with relevant audience and build a storyteller profile online. Why? We strongly believe that, nothing can replace the happiness of #beingcreative and all of us can #dosomethingbetter with the images we take. We at pictink, believe that this world needs more creative storytellers and there should be tools simple enough, to empower anyone who wishes to publish Picturestories online. The Need: Storytelling as an art and science played a key role in human social evolution. In today's digital publishing ecosystem , where status updates are considered akin to storytelling or rather branded as storytelling, there arises, a need for a genuine storytelling platform, which caters to the needs of storytellers and their audience alike. This new platform should be simple, serving the purpose of creative storytelling, and inline with the interests and habits of a modern digital user. How? With its unique storybuilder tool, Pictink solves; The age old question of modern digital storytelling - ‘How to structure a story while publishing online?’. As a visual storytelling platform, using images as the medium of storytelling, we strive to alleviate the fear of not being good enough a writer. As a story hosting platform, we alleviate the lack of technical know on how to maintain an online presence and even removing the cost factor associated with the same.
