The future of biotechnology in India is superior. But, to be frank, the biotechnology industry is still a rising one in India. The biotechnology industry in India is the 3rd largest in the Asia-Pacific region, and presents excellent career scopes in the near future. With all those scopes, every student of biotechnology has some common questions in mind. What is the scope of biotechnology in India or what is the average salary or what type of job will we get? Where is the gap between academia and industries? There are so many lacunae but few are on top: 1. Passion for the subject: Most of the students take up biotech not to love of the subject but because they did not have any option. 2. Selection of college: There is a big gap between the quality of biotech education and the needs of industries. 3. Learning hands on practical skills: About 50,000 biotech students pass out every year across the country. Unfortunately, only few of them are skilled and fulfill the requirements of industries. Most of them even don’t have seen the equipments. Pioneer Centre of Biosciences is a well equipped platform, where students get an environment of research and education. Our team members are experts of their fields; they train students according to their interest and filling the gap between academia and industries. In last few years, the students from our lab have reached in well reputed companies of India like Dr Lal Path lab, Haldiram, Core Diagnostic etc.
