Prapta offers sustainable luxury - couture/prêt. Prapta is being derived from a Sanskrit word which means serving the purpose. Was founded in the year 2018 with an aim to promote ancient Indian crafts & Sustainable textiles through our work to bring traditional handicrafts to mainstream luxury fashion. After investing years of research and exploring the roots of ancient Indian crafts, we at prapta have managed to identify few crafts from the remote villages of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kutch- Gujarat & Rajasthan. These communities are unexplored and prapta has taken an extra leap towards empowering these communities by providing employment and helping their artwork reach every corner of the world. Values that we would like to associate with our brand is contributing our bit to create a socially-responsible design label.
