Context: Indian consumers have a great demand for trusted top quality pre owned cars. This is true naturally as Indian consumer is aspirational and value focused. This is only augmented by the dynamics of how Indian society is changing. Large Market Size: India is a large market with an estimated annual sales of upwards of 3 million pre-owned cars. In addition, this is estimated to be growing at more than 15% every year. Most of this market is unorganized and underserved and we have a huge potential to fill the gap. Services appreciated: The main issue faced by the Indian consumer is that of trust; trust on quality of cars and trust on paperwork. Precarmart addresses these two through a combination of technology, processes, culture and intent. We set high standards for ourselves to deliver top quality service to our customers and accordingly we have been rated really favourably by our customers. Scalable model: We are structured to scale very quickly and at low cost. We must be the only company in this space to operate from a 2nd floor office. Our model relies less on expensive display space and more on quality manpower. Accordingly, the more we scale the more employment we will generate. We have received great customer traction in Bangalore, our target is to grow quickly and offer our services to all of India.
