PRIME CELLULOSE INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED

Guntur, Andhra Pradesh

DPIIT recognised District Healthcare & Lifesciences

In their own words

Prime Cellulose India Private Limited, incorporated on 25 April 2025, is a GMP-focused pharmaceutical excipient manufacturing startup based in Andhra Pradesh. The company is developing high-quality cellulose and starch-based excipients including Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC), Croscarmellose Sodium (CCS), Pre-Gelatinised Starch (PGS), and Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG). India imports a large share of premium excipients from global suppliers. Prime Cellulose addresses this gap through process innovation in acid hydrolysis, co-processed excipient technology, and super-disintegrant manufacturing, designed to meet USP-NF, BP, IP, and Ph.Eur standards. With a scalable planned capacity of 28,500 kg/day and export-ready quality systems, the startup aims to reduce import dependency, generate rural employment, and strengthen India’s pharmaceutical supply chain under the Make in India initiative.

What we do not know

We have no liveness signal for any company on this site: no filings feed, no revenue, no check that the website still resolves. A record existing here means a record exists, not that a business is trading.

Is this your company?

Everything here comes from public government records. If something is wrong, the authoritative place to correct it is the Startup India portal itself, and we will pick the correction up on the next monthly snapshot. To flag an error on our side, write to trust@indianstartupmap.com.
